This web site aims to promote East Asian Children's Literature in an effort to share cultures and heritages of the region. It was originally created for UIUC GSLIS LIS303LE with Dr. Betsy Hearne. See also Choosing Multicultural Literature web page.
It is dedicated to my nephew, Dale Wong.
Karen Woodworth-Roman received her BA in East Asian Studies from UIUC and speaks Japanese and Chinese. She lived for 10 years in Japan and Taiwan. She earned her MS in Library Science in May 2004.
