Online Links to Creation Stories

With a topic as immense as creation literature, it is not surprising that many others have sought to create webpages that share some of these tales. A few notable sites are listed below:

www.worldandi.com/newhome/wwft/demo.html

This site is available through the journal World and I and is the free online sample for the CD-ROM, Worldwide Folktales. Not all links are free but those that are reveal an ambitious e-book effort focusing on folklore with the occasional creation myth thrown in.

www.bigmyth.com

This remarkable site features both audio voiceovers and animation in an interactive introduction to creation myth. Users select a region from a map of the world and follow through links on creation, culture and pantheon. Because this site also has a CD-ROM behind it, not all links are available in the free online environment.
