The following storytelling programs for young people stand out as excellent among their peers.

  • The Kids' Storytelling Club: An online club for young storytellers and fans, The Kids' Storytelling Club is sponsored by StoryCraft, a narrow niche independent publisher producing books, periodicals, and electronic materials for young storytellers.

  • National Youth Storytelling Olympics: Student storytellers aged 7 to 17 representing the "best of the best" nationwide come together to share their love of telling.

  • The Story Tent: A traveling program from the United Kingdom, the Story Tent visits schools and community centers offering telling and workshops for youth storytellers.

  • Robert E. Clow Elementary School Student Storytellers: A club run through the school Media Center, the Clow Student Storytellers is an amazing group of 4th and 5th graders from Naperville, Illinois.

  • Time Slips Creative Storytelling Project: A storytelling method that seeks to honor the tales of people suffering from dementia, Time Slips is an ideal program for young storytellers who wish to give back to their communities.

  • Voices of Illusion: The storytelling troupe spearheaded by Kevin Cordi, the Voices of Illusion claim to be the first high school storytelling group in the nation.
