King Cole and since divorced from ladies man Prince Charming) has been murdered.
It's up to Bigby Wolf (formerly the Big Bad Wolf) to find out whodunit.

Serpent's Shadow by Mercedes
Lackey, DAW Books, 2002- Maya is the orphaned daughter of an English
man and a Hindu woman who must flee India for England when her life is in
danger from a strange assassin and devotee of the goddess Kali. She is also
a doctor in an era when women doctors are highly unusual. After arriving in
London, she sets up practice among the urban poor, but it is only a matter

Snow
White and the Seven Samurai by Tom
Holt, Trafalgar Square, 2000- A funny novel about a magical land
inhabited by the characters of folk and fairy tale. Everything in the land
was running smoothly on operating system Mirrors 3.1 until three hackers accidentally
crashed the system. Now, among other things, Snow White's seven dwarves are
seven samurai and two of the three pigs suddenly have a hankering for sausage.
Will the Wicked Queen be able to reboot the system before disaster strikes?
