DIRK and DUCK

Dirk is Weetzie's best friend; Duck is Dirk's Duck. That is, Duck meaning "boyfriend." You see, Weetzie wished that Dirk would find his Duck and then Dirk met a Duck named Duck, and . . . never mind, you know the story. Dirk and Duck have some books they both like, but they have their own interests too. Maybe that's why they get along so well.

The truth may be clouded by warring perceptions, but this book gets closer to it than any other.
