Cheap Date: Stories of Love and Romance - A Storytelling Valentine for Adults
This event, a mini-benefit for The Center for Children's Books Endowment Fund, featured prominent and provocative storytellers from the American Midwest. Janice Del Negro, Betsy Hearne, Dan Keding, The Storyweavers (Lucinda Flodin and Dennis Frederick), Kate McDowell, and Sarah Dutelle presented an evening of traditional stories and modern tales, folk ballads and popular songs, reflecting various aspects of romantic love.
